Donate

The Table Church is collecting donations to provide direct material support to DMV residents impacted by recent federal policy changes. Our initial focus is providing housing assistance to workers facing hardship due to recent executive orders affecting federal agencies, contractors, NGOs, and related organizations. But we anticipate the needs in our community will expand and evolve.

Your Gift's Impact Donations to this fund will be used to:

  • Provide emergency housing assistance to workers facing hardship

  • Support DMV residents experiencing material hardship due to policy changes

  • Respond to emerging community needs as they arise

Fund Management

  • 100% of donations go directly to support services

  • When possible and applicable, assistance payments will be made directly to service providers (landlords, utilities, etc.)

  • A volunteer committee oversees fund distribution

  • Regular updates on impact will be shared with donors

  • Funds not immediately needed for housing assistance will be used for other forms of direct material support to affected community members

  • Any remaining funds at the conclusion of this initiative will be granted to DMV-based 501(c)(3) organizations engaged in similar community support work

Oversight This fund operates under the supervision of The Table's Elder Board with regular auditing and transparent reporting. While we maintain flexibility to meet emerging needs, we are committed to honoring donor intent and maximizing community impact.

All donations are tax-deductible. The Table Church reserves the right to allocate donations to best meet community needs within the stated purposes of this fund. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for contributions.
